Firstly … we’re opening our doors on Tuesday May 25th and the table booking facility on the website is now open for business!
Even though we’re allowed to open, we’re still subject to a lot of conditions as to how we can operate so we’ve made the decision to change our opening times for the time being just so we can see how it works … the new times are …
We’re excited to bring you a new food menu and new wine list and look out for our opening deals … if you love the garlic mushrooms, you’re in for a treat!!
Although we’re working on our grand reopening, we won’t be spending all the time at the restaurant so if you have a question it’s best to email us on [email protected].

Need somewhere to accommodate your large party but don’t fancy a formal ‘sit down’ sort of night? Well how about a Gios buffet?
That way you get to enjoy lots of our food and mingle with your friends at the same time. If you are really popular and have more than 30 friends; you could even hire the upstairs or even the whole restaurant for your special event. We provide the ambience, drinks and the food which is of course all homemade.

Our kitchen is a busy hive of activity, as our talented chefs never stop creating – from our amazing lunch and main menus to our monthly specials. We pride ourselves on using fresh produce, as we know this will result in the highest quality product. Designing and making every aspect of our dishes ourselves also allows us to cater for any allergies or dietary requirements you may have, and offers a bespoke homely feel for everyone who walks through our door.
When we first opened in 1987, we made the promise to create our dough and pasta ourselves. Our recipes have evolved as times have changed, so that now both our dough and pasta are suitable for vegans. The great thing about us making our whole menu from scratch is that we can do things a little bit differently; we can do things that others can’t and we are constantly experimenting to surprise and delight our guests.
